How do I get from the airport to Tingalaya's?
There are several ways you can get from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay to Tingalaya's Retreat:
By Private Car: If you are renting a car, head west using your GPS or map. Negril is approximately 50 miles from Montego Bay. Once you arrive in the center of Negril you will come to a traffic circle. Go around the circle and head to your right. Immediately you will see a Burger King also on your right. Keep driving on the West End Road, also called One Love Drive, along the cliffs past many hotels and residences. Once you pass Rick's Cafe, keep going and the next landmark you will see is the Lighthouse also on your right. You're now 1.5 miles from Tingalaya's. Soon you will come to a fork in the road and you are to keep right. You will pass the Cliffs Hotel and then and Hide Awhile Villas on your right. Keep driving and you will soon see a long white wall with a large red gate on your left and the Tingalaya's Retreat sign on the wall.
By Private Taxi or Shuttle Services: We do not offer a free shuttle service to our property. Please consider using Genius Tours, a private taxi service that we consider good and reliable. PLEASE CALL OR SEND AN EMAIL AT LEAST 24-48 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL TO MAKE YOUR ARRANGEMENTS. The trip takes 70-90 minutes and the fares are between US $70-80 for up to two passengers and US $20 for each additional passenger.
Other Shuttle/Taxi Services: There are other shuttle services and taxi operators which you can easily find online by searching for Shuttle/taxi services from Montego Bay to Negril.
